Vernissage in der Erste Liebe Bar mit Drinks & Kuchen

Elsewhere: Analog Black & White Photo Exhibition

by Marcel Frommer

Mark your calendar 🤓 because on Thursday, November 5th, I’m inviting you to the opening of “Elsewhere“ at @ersteliebebar in Hamburg.

I picked six of my favourite black & white analog photographs from the past few years, captured while travelling around the world — from Cape Town and New York to all around Italy. Images that have stayed with me, and with many of you, too.

You could call it a little “Best of Marcel Frommer”.

What’s new is the scale. For the first time, these photographs will be shown at 80 × 120 cm, framed in black oak and taking over the high walls of Erste Liebe Bar. And if one of them feels like it belongs on your wall instead, all six exhibited artworks will be available to purchase.

Honestly, I couldn’t imagine a much better setting for them than Erste Liebe Bar: black marble, high ceilings, minimal design and the smell of coffee, right in the heart of Hamburg. Like seriously: Where else?!

For the opening, I’m hoping for a good mix of old friends and new faces. 😏🫰🏼 Come by, celebrate art, have a drink and connect with other art lovers. Erste Liebe Bar will be selling special drinks alongside their beloved cakes. 🥂🍰

I’ll also bring a selection of signed & numbered limited fine art prints from my wider collection, made for 30 × 40 cm frames and available during the exhibition for a special price of €69. Produced together with my partner @whitewall

Vernissage
Thursday, November 5th
from 6–9 PM
Erste Liebe Bar
Michaelisbrücke 3

And if you can’t make the opening: the artworks will stay on the walls until the end of February, so you can see them over coffee or lunch whenever you’re around. 🥳

See you soon! 🫶🏻
